I am all about customer service. Janie and her crew gave 5 star customer service. From start to finish I am very happy. My carpet looks beautiful. Janie understood what I was looking for, she helped me choose a carpet, she formulated a plan, and after everything was done, she came back to make sure we were happy and that everything was installed up to her and my approval. Really happy I went with Janie and her company. Highly recommend!

We had a great experience with Floor Coverings International. We shopped around to replace our carpet in 4 bedrooms and decided to go with them because of their expertise and fair price. Janie was very patient, pleasant, professional, and responsive. The project manager Kevin was also very professional and responsive. It was a fast, easy install in one day. We are very happy with our new carpet and would recommend them to anyone looking for flooring services.

I received a quote from Janie Sandberg. It was a little higher than a quote fromHome Depot to account for leveling of subfloors. I made the mistake of choosing the cheapest option after the Home Depot representative said that I had a fairly new home and new homes rarely had unlevel subfloors. Boy was he wrong. I was informed by every realtor I know and one construction company that most new track homes have unleveled floors. Home Depot only sells materials. They use a subcontractor that installed half of my new Vinyl plank flooring. After installing half of the new vinyl plank flooring, the subcontractor informed me that he couldn't finish the job because my wood subfloor upstairs was not level. The HD subcontractor said he could do minor leveling (he measured in poker chips. If your floor requires more than 3 poker chips to lift the leveler until your subflooris flat, this HD subcontractor was not licensed or insured to do the work.) That's when I called Janie. Not only did she send someone over to inspect my subfloor, but Floor Coverings International also offered to level my subfloor and finish installing the remaining vinyl plank flooring and carpet that I purchased from Home Depot. I had a few friends inform me to call and complain to Home Depot requesting to receive a refund. After my phone call, Home Depot referred my problem to another one of their general contractors who is working to fix my subfloor and install the remaining installation of my vinyl plank flooring. However, I wonder if my warranty is still valid because it took two subcontractors to finish the order. After my experience with Home Depot, I recommend that anyone who is considering a flooring project work with a company like Floor Coverings International. Although the quote from Floor Coverings International was higher, in hindsight I see the value of working with a company that specializes in flooring. The customer has peace of mind that Floor Coverings International can complete the job without any delays. Floor Coverings International would have leveled my subfloor and finish the installation without requiring assistance from another company. Also, the Floor Coverings International quote included new baseboards. This easily justifies the higher cost.
