Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this company. We prepaid for work that was never completed — not even close. The job was left unfinished, with parts of our home exposed, raw materials sitting around, and incomplete custom carpentry that we were promised and paid for in full. And what did they do instead of owning up to it? They filed a fraudulent lien against our home. Let me be clear: we had in writing that the project included stairwork, railing, and a custom built-in. We gave them multiple chances over the course of eight months to finish. They ignored us, ghosted us, then turned around and filed a lien claiming we hadn’t paid — when we had, in full, up front. This company caused unnecessary legal stress, disrupted our home, and abused the lien system to try to cover their own failures. It’s dishonest, unethical, and possibly criminal. Avoid at all costs. There are plenty of skilled, honest tradespeople out there. These aren’t them.

I hired this company for a full flooring replacement, custom bookshelf, and stair/banister finishing. The project was supposed to be completed in December 2024, but after eight months of repeated delays, no-shows, and broken promises, the job was still unfinished. Despite having in writing that items like the bookshelf, handrail, and stair landing were included, the contractor abandoned the project before completing any of those elements. Their communication was sporadic at best, and I was often left waiting with no notice or explanation. When I finally insisted they meet the extended timeline I had allowed, they responded by filing a mechanic's lien against my home--a retaliatory and questionable move considering the state they left the project in. I have hired legal counsel and am actively pursuing a resolution. I would strongly recommend anyone considering this business document everything, and proceed with caution. I regret trusting this team with my home.

Dan with RFCI was great to work with, start to finish. Our initial phone consultation enabled him to bring samples that fit my vision for my flooring to a T! His team was efficient and respectful of my home. The communication was excellent and l couldn’t be happier with the end result. I will be contacting Dan for future home improvement projects. HIGHLY recommend!

Dan was great to work with and had a lot of helpful recommendations and flooring knowledge. He was able to have our new carpet installed before we moved in. The carpet looks fantastic! I managed to stain it the first day and the stain came out easy with shaw cleaner.

Absolutely gorgeous work! Dan was wonderful to work with. He really took the time to understand my style and worked with me. He was excellent at communicating and very professional. The installers did a meticulous job with the patterned carpet I close for my stairs would highly recommend!Looking forward to working with them again to replace bedroom carpets in the future.
