Poor Rating is due to the business, not the installation. Dale was a great installer, efficient and kind. His work looked good and he got a big room done quick. BUT The poor review is due to the wrong carpet being installed. We ordered a darker grey carpet, and what was installed was a lighter version. When we called and had the original saleswoman come out to see in person, she verified that it was NOT the carpet we ordered. We were told that the version we ordered was in stock, and we would hear back from them soon to remedy the situation. 2 days later with no update, our contractor reached out and was told by the business that they had installed the correct carpet, and we would not be receiving the darker one they had in stock, contradicting what the saleswoman had confirmed earlier. We are left frustrated at the miscommunication, but are hopeful to work something out. If we can, the rating will go way up. Overall Dale rocks.

We had a great experience with Jim and his crew! Jim came out the same day we called to show us samples, and we were so impressed we decided to move forward right away. By noon the next day, his crew was already here starting demo. The job included a lot of tile, so we expected a messy process. It definitely got dusty, but Jim’s crew went above and beyond to clean up at the end of each day, which made it easy for our family to stay in the home while they worked. They started on a Tuesday afternoon and were completely finished by Saturday. Luke’s attention to detail was incredible and he really made sure everything looked perfect. Jim also came by personally once the job was finished to walk through everything and give his final stamp of approval. Their customer service, workmanship, and professionalism were top-notch from start to finish. Could not say enough great things about Jim, Luke, and their entire team!

I worked with Mark from floor coverings international and I couldn’t be happier with my new floors. I went through Costco and got both hard flooring and carpet throughout the whole house. The quality of the floors is great and the turnaround time was very quick. They finished on time and cleaned up after. They even fixed some plumbing they noticed while installing the new floors so it wouldn’t leak. Mark called me every day to make sure I was happy with everything. Couldn’t be happier with the purchase.

This was our first experience with FCI of Champaign, and we couldn't be more pleased! Calvin came to our home with samples and had our flooring choice ready to be installed in just a few weeks. The installers were so polite and knowledgeable and did a fantastic job as well. Our kitchen and bathrooms look so bright and beautiful now! I'd give 6 STARS if I could!

Our new kitchen floor looks great! It totally changed the feel of our kitchen. Steve took plenty of time helping us choose the new wood look so it blended well with our existing wood cabinets. Between the two days it took (which we were told might happen depending on what was under our old tile floor — understandable), there were some tile chunks left in neighboring rooms and a pile of old floor pieces in the kitchen heating duct, so we had to pick that out and vacuum before using the heat that night. But overall a great experience. Scheduling was easy too.
