FCI did a great job from beginning to end of project. I got a quote from them to redo my kitchen floor and not only did they have what seemed like an infinite number of samples to choose from, they also showed up to my house in order for us to see those samples in our space which really helped us to visualize which product we would want to go with. Austin (who was our sales rep) was super helpful and knowledgeable when it came to recommending floors based off of price and personal preferences. He did not try to upsell us and made sure we were happy with what we chose. He was also a very kind individual and genuinely cared about getting us what we wanted for the project. The lead times on all of the tile we ended up choosing was minimal and everything turned out looking great. I would definitely use them again in the future and would recommend that if you are looking for quality flooring to use them as the way to get it. I added some pictures that I took of the finished product (the tile flooring) and I love how it turned out. The lighting isn’t the best but I figured I would add it so it would show what it looked like at the end of the project.

My experience with FCI was great, all the way from Austin the salesman to John, Rick, and Ilyah from the installation team. All very professional and worked hard to meet our needs. The job was done on time with excellent quality and at the quoted price. Couldn't ask for anything more, would definitely recommend FCI to friends and family.

It was great working with Floor coverings international! Austin came out and delivered the carpet and brought be a Starbucks!! And Kim was wonderful customer service! Carpet looks amazing! The installers were quick and efficient!

Austin was great! He moved heaven and earth to get the correct flooring for our project. We were in a very tight time line and he came thru. The installers did an excellent job and moved like the wind. I was very pleased with all aspects of the job.

We had an excellent experience with this company from start to finish. Austin was very professional—he called in advance to confirm our needs and made sure to bring the right samples. He followed up to answer our questions and stayed in touch throughout the process, which we really appreciated. About a month later, we were notified that the products had arrived, and an installation appointment was quickly scheduled. On installation day, Rick and Ilyah arrived on time and were incredibly professional. They worked efficiently, paid close attention to detail, and did a fantastic job. The results truly exceeded our expectations. We couldn’t be happier with the entire experience and highly recommend this team.

Recently moving back into the Detroit area from 15yrs out of state and in need of a flooring specialist for our new home, we didn’t quite know where to start. After some brief research online, it was notable to see the high ratings and overwhelmingly positive feedback on FCI in the Grosse Pointe area. We reached out and within a matter of hours (not days), we received contact from Austin to get the process rolling on a consult. He’s very affable, considerate, and most importantly, hyper-focused on our project timing/budget. What’s more, he’s exceedingly well-informed for a variety of flooring solutions and his follow-up is impeccable. Every step of the way, he worked meticulously to ensure our needs were met and budget for our desired project was intact, even despite an unforeseen subflooring concern once demo began (older GP home built in the 60’s). Overall, we couldn’t be happier with the result of our new beautiful hardwood floors and carpeting which was completed prior to the school year. We feel very fortunate to have worked with the FCI team as their entire crew made us feel like family and welcomed to our new area. We’ve had many home projects/contractors throughout our years of homeownership and FCI is in a class of its own. To illustrate it further, we received in-person visits from the owner Ken to diagnose our subflooring concern to ensure the best approach was aligned as well as a spotless cleanup of all installation dust/debris led by his co-owner and wife, Amy before we returned back home post-install. The level of care and detail for our home and satisfaction was simply impressive and truly appreciated. Lastly, special thanks to John the project/install lead as he helped to carefully coordinate and communicate timing, project flow/solutions, sent updates, and talked Lions and Michigan football which I always appreciate ;) If you want to make a great decision on your flooring project, look no further than FCI as they have you more than covered.
